It was only a party of three for February’s LWD, but that didn’t stop the Ladies from dining and imbibing. We headed west to another beach city – Manhattan Beach – for dinner at Fishbar. The place was poppin’ (does anyone still use that as an adjective?), and with just the three of us, we were seated right away.
Each of us decided to start with a margarita, salt. Muy delicioso.
Then we moved on to our main dishes, served up speedily – I hadn’t even finished my drink when my plate arrived, and I’m not one to babysit.
I gave up sweets for Lent so I couldn’t do much but drool as while the Ladies enjoyed dessert – French Toast Bread Pudding. I’ll take their word about how sweet and scrumptious it was, but I can vouch for how wonderful it smelled.
