For March, the Ladies kept it local, heading down to 2nd Street to taste the offerings of Belmont Shore’s Taven On 2. Half of the party arrived in time to catch Happy Hour, and you know how HAPPY that Happy Hour makes us (especially me!). So the evening started with five appetizers and a few glasses of wine.
Eventually, the Early Three were joined by a few more Ladies. We were thrilled to have Jen back, who returned this month from LWD Maternity Leave.
So it was time to bring on the entrees.
A few of the words spoken around the table as the Ladies ate: Wow! Delicious. Spicy, but goooooood. Love that sauce. Dang! Damn!
And what’s a wonderful dinner without a shared dessert?
Needless to say, we enjoyed ourselves. And since Tavern On 2 is right here in the LBC, we all agreed this spot would be added to our list of lunch locations. Yes, there will be many more a Tavern Fry for me to enjoy.
